Questions couples ask
Do both of us have to have the same massage?
No. One of you can take Swedish and the other deep tissue, at different pressures, for the same length of time. Tell us when you book or at the start of the visit.
Do we undress in front of each other?
No. Both therapists step out of the room while you undress to your comfort and get under your sheets, and they knock before coming back in.
Are we covered the whole time?
Yes. A sheet covers you throughout, and only the part being worked on is uncovered, then covered again.
Can either of us stop?
Yes. Say stop at any time and your table stops at once. The other carries on only if you both want it to.
Can we talk during the visit?
If you like. Most couples talk a little at the start and then lie quietly. Tell your therapist if you would rather have silence.
What should we wear?
Whatever is comfortable on the way in. We provide robes, sheets and slippers, and a place for your coats.
How early should we arrive?
Ten minutes before your time. If you are late, call us: the end time stays the same, so your session may be shorter.
Is it for couples only?
Two tables suit any pair: a couple, two friends, a parent and an adult child. Everyone must be 18 or older.
What if one of us is pregnant?
Please ask your doctor before booking and tell us when you book. We may ask for a note from your doctor first.
Can we buy a gift card?
Yes. A gift card is for a visit for two, in the length you choose, or for a standing plan. Buy one online.
