A day to mark
An anniversary, or a weekend away
A slow hour or two for the two of you, in a room that asks nothing else of the day.
Most of our guests come for an anniversary or a weekend in Charleston. We give you a robe each, a pot of tea afterward and the room to yourselves for a few minutes after the visit ends, before you step out into the street again.
The long visit, 90 minutes, is our usual choice
Robes and slippers for both of you
Tea in the front room afterward
A gift card, if the visit is a present

Ways couples use the room
Three good reasons to book
An anniversary
Book the long visit and ask for the hour you were married. Tell us when you book and we'll have the room ready.
A weekend in town
Saturday morning, before the day gets going, is a gentle way to begin. Sunday afternoon is quiet.
A birthday or a date
A visit for two as a present, or a standing date every few months. See the plans.

The day
How it goes
Step 1: Choose the day
Book on the booking page and tell us if it is an occasion.
Step 2: Arrive and settle
Come ten minutes early. We take your coats and show you to the room.
Step 3: The visit
Two tables, two therapists, each of you draped and at your own pressure.
Step 4: Tea afterward
A pot of tea in the front room before you head back out.
Questions
For an occasion
Can we book for a surprise?
Yes. Book under one name, tell us it is a surprise, and we will meet your partner at the door and show them in.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. A gift card is for a visit for two, in the length you choose, or for a standing plan. Buy one online and it comes by mail or as an email you can forward.
Can we bring anything?
A change of clothes if you're going out after. We have robes, sheets and slippers, and a place for your coats.
